Hermosa Beach Police Officers Association Endorses Measure HB

Hermosa Beach, CA – The Hermosa Beach Police Officers Association (HBPOA) is proud to announce its full support for Measure HB, a critical initiative that will strengthen public safety, improve city infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life for all Hermosa Beach residents.

As law enforcement officers committed to protecting and serving our community, we believe Measure HB is essential for ensuring the safety and security of our neighborhoods. This measure will provide much-needed resources to recruit and retain highly trained police officers, expand the use of modern technology to prevent crime, and enhance security measures in public spaces, including schools, parks, and beaches. These investments will allow us to respond more effectively to emergencies, keep our community safe, and prevent crime before it happens.

"Measure HB is a vital step toward a safer, more secure Hermosa Beach," said Officer Joshua Nakamoto, President of the Hermosa Beach Police Officers Association. "With this measure, we can continue to build on our public safety efforts, ensuring we have the resources to address both current and future challenges."

In addition to enhancing public safety, Measure HB addresses important community needs such as infrastructure repair and maintenance. It will provide funding for street and sidewalk improvements, traffic safety measures, safe routes to school, and the repair of community facilities, ensuring Hermosa Beach remains a vibrant, well-maintained city for all who live, work, and visit here.

Measure HB also includes provisions for economic development and supporting local businesses, which are essential for maintaining a thriving and sustainable local economy. By improving city facilities and beautifying neighborhoods, the measure will foster a stronger sense of community and pride in our city.

The HBPOA urges all residents to vote YES on Measure HB to ensure a safer and more prosperous future for Hermosa Beach. Together, we can make our city an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
